I’ve been a fan of the tasteful & articulate playing of Thomas Blug for some time and so was delighted when he appeared at the wonderful Richtone Music, 5 mins from where I live, to promote his new amp. He proved to be an engaging and modest character. He’s been involved with the techy side of guitars & amps for years and has put all his skills into the seriously compact, floor-based amp.

Turns out he’s a huge Blackmore fan (like mysefl) and we favour the same period, around 1970 when Purple were given to 20 minute songs full of virtuosity & fire. He demonstrated a fair number of RB riffs & licks & I’m going to send him a copy of my brother’s book about Deep Purple In Rock 😉
