I read frequent comments about the quality of the build with Behringer products. Mostly, I’ve not found this to be the case, although two AB200 footswitches rapidly developed faults, but at the price I paid on ebay, I can’t moan too loudly.

So, when one of the footpedals on my FBC1010 starting acting dogy, I considered the 10 or so years of perfect service it has given me, forgave it and had the thing open. Only one microswitch caused problems, so I resoldered the four connectors, which seems to have done the trick.

I guess at some point I should replace *all* the microswitches, but that’s for another day.
