The same guys that created "The Scale" with Carla Diratz have been back in Yellow Arch studios in Sheffield, with Robin Downes at the desk. Martin Archer, Dave Sturt (bass) Adam Fairclough (drums) with the addition of Adam Fairhall on keys worked on several tracks for the forthcoming "Carla Blues" project, channeling a bit of Beefheart with a touch of Jimi, but with the diversity typical of Discus Music artists!

I thought the previous album a huge artistic success and feel this will be every bit as good. For myself, it's a total delight working with musicians of this calibre, no egos and a flexibility & desire to bring out the best from my (raw) song ideas.

Now to the mixing, which is as much fun, but somewhat slower ;)
