This the best piece of kit I’ve ever bought and is a fundamental part of all my work.  As well as 100s of effects, it also has2 loopers (not perfect but adequate).  Every few months there’s a new software update, usually adding 10 or so new effects options – it’s like getting free pedals!

Add to this to expression pedals and a near complete midi spec, two channels, IR and some great editing software and you can see why it appeals to me. It’s also quite compact!

I use a DIY midi controller to switch scenes and a dedicated “stop loop” button (otherwise it’s a double-press to stop – not great for loop timing!).

It work with electric or acoustic and for the latter, Impulsr Responses make for a great variety of sounds. Touch wood, I’ve had no issues with it, apart from the dodgy line 6 update procedures.
