A set from the Church of Sound gig at JT Soar – a former potato storage warehouse! Hosted by the lovely Jez Creek, who puts in so much time and energy to give other musicians some exposure. The audience were (as always) attentive and really get into the mood of the performances. I’ve play COS several times and it’s always a treat.
The opening of this set is more rhythmical than my usual mood, largely driven by a VST plugin called “echoloop” which allows me to record quantised fragments. It was also the debut gig for my new controller, a Launchpad mini.
You can see a “younger me” to my left on the sleeve, complete with school blazer!
