Awakenings 2006 volume 1

Those lovely people at Ambient Live give me semi-regular gigs at their Awakenings festivals in Leeds and it’s fascinating to hear how my music impinges on and relates to the electronic music scene. Reviewers and audiences aren’t always sure what to make of it without the usual sequencer and mellotron, but they’re a pretty broad-minded and supportive lot.
